Summer 2009 : We've had a busy summer so far! We went to Edaville Rail Road to see Thomas, celebrated Ethan's 4th birhtday, took a couple trips to the beach (the Cape and a lake), Science and Children's museum in Boston, Zoo in Providence with lots of legos and swinging time inbetween. Ashley is now 8 months and has been crawling and is now pulling up to stand. And thanks to Mimi & Papa and Grammy for babysitting so we even enjoyed a couple date nights without the kids! August 2007 : We had a busy August with a trip back to MA to see family and friends. Ethan loved visiting his grandparents and had a blast playing with his cousins. Of course it went by too quickly but we did manage to spend several days at the Cape and enjoy some hot summer weather and a quick trip to Chicago for a wedding before returning back to cold, rainy England! Though the sun has finally returned (albeit with some cool temps) and we enjoyed a day out in historic Bath, family picnics and playground visits. Hope you enjoy the photos from this past month.

Ethan is 2! : Ethan turned 2 on July 1, 2007! We celebrated with a Jungle themed party with some of Ethan's friends from the neighborhood. The following weekend we went to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre to see Thomas and other steam trains. Ethan loves trains so he was in his glory!

Ethan's 20th month : We visited Farmer Gow's on Sunday, March 11. Ethan enjoyed the goats, mini tractor rides, a train set, and a picnic lunch outside. (He did not like the pigs- too noisy!)

Ethan's 19th Month : We had a busy February! Oxford had its biggest snowstorm in 10 years which allowed us to build a snowman in our backyard. The snow quickly melted in time for a visit from Marc's parents. Ethan enjoyed lots of Mimi & Papa time with trips to the playground and Marc & Kristen enjoyed a night away visiting friends in Amsterdam.

Ethan's 15th month : We've had a very busy month with a lot of ups and down's. First we enjoyed a visit from Ethan's grampy and uncle Shawn. Then unfortunately Ethan became ill and had emergency surgery for a septic knee. Fortunately Marc's mother came to help out and Ethan has made full and fast recovery. And this past weekend the Bregman's from Amsterdam came to visit us! Please see the photos of our very busy month!

last days of August in Oxford : Cool, crisp fall weather has arrived in Oxford- perfect for bike riding! Ethan loves his new bike seat and is getting used to the helmet. We spent Sunday afternoon picnicing on the Christ Church College meadows and walking around the city before cycling back home.
